Last Updated: August 25, 2025

Chattz (referred to as “Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is dedicated to protecting the personal data you share with us when using our website at https://polamir.onrender.com (the “Site”), our mobile applications (the “Apps”), and all related features (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information, as well as the choices and rights you have regarding your personal data. We’ve kept the language as clear as possible, avoiding unnecessary legal or technical terms. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at CONTACT .

By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to download or use Chattz. We do not knowingly collect, store, or sell information from individuals under 18. Additionally, we never knowingly gather or process personal data from children under the age of 13.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how our websites, mobile applications, and related products collect, store, use, and share your personal information. It also outlines the options available to you to manage your data and protect your privacy while using our Services.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to our Services. It does not cover the data practices of companies we do not own or control—for instance, advertisers or partners who may provide certain services through our platform. These third parties may place cookies or similar technologies on your device. Since we do not manage those tools, their privacy practices may differ from ours, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.

2. Information We Collect

We gather different types of information to provide and improve our Services:

Information you provide directly – for example, details you enter when creating an account, setting up your profile, or contacting us.

Information from your activity – such as how you use our Services, the features you interact with, and your preferences.

Information from connected third-party platforms – if you choose to link your account with external services.

Information collected automatically – including data about your device, operating system, browser, and the areas of our Services you visit or spend time on.

2.1. Data You Provide to Us

The data we collect depends on how you use the Services. This may include:

Account Data: When you create or update an account, we collect information such as your email address and username. You are also assigned a unique identification number. We use your email only for account-related notifications (not for marketing). For marketing emails, your explicit consent is required.

Profile Data: You may choose to add details such as a username, bio, or in-app avatar. This information is generally visible to other users. To upload media, you may need to grant access to your camera or photo library. Some of the information you provide may be considered “sensitive data”; by sharing it, you consent to its processing.

Usage Data: We may collect information such as messages, likes, in-app purchases, user-generated content, and technical diagnostic data.

Shared Content: Content you publish (e.g., stories, comments, gifts) may be visible to others.

Third-Party Accounts: If you link your account with platforms like Google, we may receive limited information (such as name, email, phone number, or date of birth) depending on your privacy settings.

Payment Data: All payments are processed through Android. We only receive transaction receipts and do not collect card details.

Support & Communication: When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, device information, and messages.

Sensitive Data: You may choose to share sensitive information such as religious views, health data, or political opinions. This is entirely optional, and by providing it, you consent to its processing. However, this data or your conversations within Chattz will never be used for marketing purposes.

2.2. Data From Others

In addition to the information you provide directly, we may also collect data about you through automated means or from third parties, including:

System Data: Technical details about your device and browser, such as IP address, device type, operating system, app and browser version, time zone, language, crash reports, cookies, and advertising IDs (e.g., Google AAID).

Usage Data: Information about your activity on the Services, such as login times, features used, pages viewed, clicks, interactions with other users, and the number of messages or content shared.

Location Data: Your approximate location (e.g., country or city) based on your IP address.

Partner Data: Information from partners, such as advertising platforms, that may share details about your interactions with their campaigns.

3. How We Collect Data About You

We use tools such as cookies, web beacons, analytics services, and advertising providers to collect data. Some of these allow you to opt out of data collection.

3.1 Analytics & Crash Reports

We use third-party SDKs, like Firebase, to analyze usage and detect crashes. These tools help us understand how the Services are used, improve performance across devices, and fix issues.

  • The data collected includes general usage patterns (e.g., visit frequency, events within the Service, performance metrics).

  • All data is anonymized and cannot be linked to specific individuals.

  • Our third-party providers, including Firebase, comply with GDPR requirements.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data primarily to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. We also use it to help keep you safe and show content or ads that may interest you. Key purposes include:

Account Management & Support: Create and manage your account, provide customer support, process transactions, and communicate about orders and billing.

Connecting with Other Users: Recommend connections, show profiles to other users, and analyze user interactions.

Consistent Experience Across Devices: Link your devices and browser data so you can enjoy the Services seamlessly.

New Services & Features: Register you on new features or apps and manage your account on them.

Offers & Ads: Show personalized offers, contests, promotions, or ads based on your interests.

Service Improvement: Conduct research and analysis to improve existing features and develop new ones.

Fraud Prevention & Security: Detect, prevent, and address fraudulent or unauthorized activities.

Legal Compliance: Comply with laws, assist law enforcement, and enforce our rights.

Legal Bases for Processing Your Data:

Contract: Most of the time, we process your data to provide our Services to you.

Legitimate Interests: We may use your data to improve Services, recommend offers, or for security and administrative purposes.

Consent: Sometimes we ask your consent for specific purposes, which you can withdraw anytime.

5. Moderation Practices

We use automated tools and a team of moderators to review accounts, messages, and content uploaded to the Service. If any content or behavior appears to violate our Terms of Service, the account may receive a warning, have access restricted, or be blocked.

Posting content that violates our Terms of Service may result in your account being restricted or terminated.

6. Data Disclosure

We generally do not share your personal data except in specific situations:

Other Users: Information you voluntarily share, such as your public profile or posts, may be visible to others. Be cautious about what you make public.

Moderators & Fraud Prevention: Moderators review content and messages, and anti-fraud or anti-spam services may access data such as your name, profile, location, purchase history, and messages to protect the Service.

Service Providers & Partners: Third parties help us operate and improve the Service (hosting, analytics, marketing, customer care, payment processing, security). They must use your data only as we direct.

Advertising Partners: Partners may use anonymized or hashed data (Device ID, age, gender, IP) to deliver personalized ads.

Legal & Safety: We may disclose your data to comply with laws, respond to legal requests, protect rights, prevent fraud, or ensure user safety.

Marketing Services Providers: Third-party providers may help us target ads, measure campaigns, and create “lookalike” or custom audiences based on anonymized data.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, personal data may be transferred to new owners or administrators.

Anti-Spam & Anti-Fraud: Data may be shared with parent or related companies to prevent fraud and block suspicious accounts or transactions.

Aggregated Information: We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research, analytics, or industry purposes.

7. Age Policy

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

Chattz does not knowingly collect information from or market to children or anyone under 18. If we discover that someone under 18 has registered and provided personal data, we will delete their account and profile. We may retain email and IP information to prevent attempts to bypass this rule.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

When you delete your account (or it is deactivated by us), it is no longer visible in the app. For up to 30 days, you may restore it if it was deleted by mistake. After this period, we begin removing your personal data, except for cases where:

  • We must keep it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

  • We need to keep proof of your consents (up to 5 years).

  • There is an unresolved claim, dispute, or safety issue.

  • We need it for fraud prevention or user safety (e.g., blocking banned users from re-registering).

For security reasons, we apply a 6-month retention window after account deletion before fully erasing account information. Accounts inactive for 10 years may also be deleted, except Premium accounts.

Customer Support correspondence is usually kept for up to 6 years to handle future queries. Anonymized, non-identifiable data may be stored longer for research and statistical purposes.

Please note: due to technical limits, complete deletion may take time.

9. Data Protection and Security

We take strong measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, as with any technology company, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your password is a key part of our security system. You are responsible for keeping it safe and not sharing it with others. If you suspect your account or password has been compromised, change it immediately and contact us at chattzmobileapp@gmail.com.

We regularly monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and attacks, and we review our practices to strengthen technical, organizational, and physical safeguards. If we suspect a security breach, we may suspend your use of the Services without prior notice.

Please note:

  • We are not responsible for protecting devices or networks outside our service.

  • We are not liable for damage or loss of user data caused by external attacks.

  • All detected attacks (e.g., hacking attempts) will be pursued through civil and, if necessary, criminal law.

In the event of a data breach, we will notify the relevant EU representatives, our Data Protection Officer, and affected users within 72 hours. Notifications will be sent via email, so it is important to register with a valid and regularly checked email address.

10. Your Rights

You have rights regarding your personal data, including the ability to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing. Depending on your country, applicable privacy laws may give you the following rights:

  • Right to be informed: Know what personal data we process and why.

  • Right of access: Request a copy of your personal data.

  • Right of rectification: Correct inaccurate data.

  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.

  • Right to restrict processing: Ask us to stop processing your data but retain it.

  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a format that can be transferred to another provider.

  • Right to object: Object to certain types of processing, including marketing.

  • Rights regarding automated decisions: Ensure human review when automated decisions have significant effects.

10.1 Tools to exercise your rights:

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended only for users 18 years or older. We do not allow anyone under 18 to use our platform and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

If you believe a user is under 18, please report it through our in-app reporting feature. If we discover that a minor has registered and provided personal data, we will remove their account and delete their information.

If a profile is deleted due to violation of this policy, we may retain limited account details to prevent future attempts to bypass our rules.

12. International Transfer Policy

We primarily process and store your personal data within the European Union. Our backend servers and cloud infrastructure are located in Europe.

However, because we use third-party providers such as Google (for payments and analytics), your data may be transferred and processed outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Google operates a global infrastructure, which may include processing in the United States or other countries.

In such cases, we rely on legal safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure that your data remains adequately protected in line with GDPR requirements.

By using our Services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information as described above. If you would like more details about the safeguards in place, please contact us at chattzmobileapp@gmail.com.

13. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Your rights include:

  • The right to request access to the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months (up to two times per year).

  • The right to request details about our data practices, including what information we collect, where it comes from, why we collect it, and who we share it with.

  • The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell user data).

  • The right to equal service and price, even if you exercise your CCPA rights.

To exercise these rights, you can email us at chattzmobileapp@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to verify your identity (such as your name, email address, and account ID if you have one). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we improve our services or introduce new features. If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance so you have the opportunity to review them before they take effect.

15. Contact Us
